School Operations Coordinator

About the Position
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, all year round
Working pattern: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Start date: Immediate start available
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- School Administration & Operations: Managing day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring efficient school operations.
- Finance & Budgeting: Assisting with financial management, including invoicing, budget monitoring, and debt collection.
- Admissions: Overseeing student admissions, liaising with parents and the local authority.
- Pupil Behaviour Management: Supporting the implementation of behaviour management strategies within the school, working closely with staff and students.
- Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensuring all school policies, procedures, and regulations are being followed.
- Community Engagement: Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and external partners to maintain positive relationships.
- Resource & Facilities Management: Assisting in coordinating school resources, maintenance schedules, and procurement of supplies.
- Executive Support: Providing administrative and strategic support to the Headteacher as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in school administration (desirable)
- Experience using Xero (desirable)
- Familiarity with relevant compliance and safeguarding regulations (desirable)
- The ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
- A positive and friendly telephone manner
- Proficiency in IT and administrative systems
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to multitask
